Aural Only: Video Video

Are you ready for more cute gay boys making awesome dance music? If you enjoyed our interview with electro-pop duo Garçon Garçon, then there’s a pretty good chance you’ll dig their friends Video Video. And if you haven’t read our interview with Garçon Garçon? Shame on you! Get your ass over to that post and read it now…

Well, before you do that, you should take a listen to Video Video’s debut single “Berlin Berlin”. It’s another ’80s-inspired club track, kind of like Empire of The Sun getting remixed by Depeche Mode. We’re not gonna lie–we’d shake our booties to this jam.

And in case there were any doubts, these guys are definitely playing for our team. Video Video is the side project for all-gay Aussie band The Blow Waves, composed of group members Matt Doll and Byron St. John. Hooray for openly gay men making great tunes!

  1. Like the music and the face painting; not too keen on those two guys, who are literally too in-your-face.

  2. Absolutely atrocious. I do NOT see the similarity to Depeche Mode. Martin Gore actually write songs.
