Yeah, I’m very much of two minds on the subject, I enjoy the films, obviously, sex is hot, and there are various taboos and freedoms of restriction that can make BB porn interesting to watch (like many types of fetish material), but unlike a lot of fetishes there are definitely some dangerous inherent problems with this resurgence of the genre being normalized in porn material.
I can live with it being a fringe thing, but I feel like no one should consider it the “norm” or even at all a recommended practice. Yes, high schools provide all kinds of sexual information. Teachers aren’t the only people a high school age child learns from, remember. Teachers, friends in school, friends out of school, bus drivers, the people talking on the street, parents, friends’ parents, classmates, television, radio, commercials, books, magazines, nature… these and so much more are where kids learn and there are lots of references to the negative possible consequences of sex in general, including unprotected sex. So to claim that these places are responsible for a young person getting HIV, Syphilis, HPV, Herpes, etc… they only share the responsibility. And so does every movie where actors are having sex on the screen. Just sayin’.
And don’t forget seat-belt laws. The government cannot control sexual laws behind closed doors, hell they can’t even catch every motorcycle rider who’s riding without a helmet in a state that requires it, or a seat belt law infringement, or prevent that guy from climbing up a rock mountain with nothing but a bag of chalk and his hands and fingers.
