The best part of this scene is when Dale Cooper channels The Graduate and asks newcomer Colden Armstrong, “Are you trying to seduce me, Mr. Armstrong?” Colden just perks up on the bed and says “Maybe!”, which is exactly what any slutty college boy would do if his hot professor referenced a classic 1967 film before fucking him. (Okay, so maybe I’m not giving you slutty college boys enough credit. Colden’s character seems more interested in studying dicks than books.)
The second best part of this scene is Dale Cooper’s voice, which isn’t too surprising, since that’s the best part of any Dale Cooper scene. Truth be told? We could bust a nut just listening to him read a book on tape. It could be any book—a textbook on entymology, How To Toilet-Train Your Cat or a self-published fan-fiction novel based on Battlestar Gallactica. Right now, as this post is being typed, we’re pre-cumming in our shorts just thinking about Dale Cooper’s voice. It’s, um, quite a voice.
