To celebrate his 66th birthday, rock legend David Bowie announced yesterday that he’ll be releasing his twenty-fourth studio album, The Next Day, in March of this year. This is his first project in ten years, and if the lead single “Where Are They Now?” is any indication, it’s going to be everything we love about Bowie (and perhaps more).

Personally, I can’t free my mind from visions of Jareth the Goblin King singing this to me. Maybe that’s just a generational thing? Whatever the case, the song’s fucking great, and Bowie is a god among men. He might even be better than One Direction! Maybe.
