I think I'm in love with Alfonso Casas. I've made this decision solely by looking at his illustrations, but that doesn't mean it's not valid. This Barcelona-based artists turns out whimsical drawings that channel a sprinkling of Edward Gorey, Jamie Hewlett and just plain awesomeness.
My Spanish is a little rusty, so I don't fully understand the text in some of his pieces. Even so, I really enjoy the layouts, and it's even better that you don't have to understand the words to appreciate them. There's only one word I have to describe these images–"¡Maravilloso!"
