Are you one of the few Manhunt Daily readers who hates Lady Gaga? Well, illustrator David M. Buisán really hates her, to the point that he made a series of images depicting his disapproval. Although we don't echo his feelings of loathing for the pop diva, we can appreciate the style he used to express them.
You'll have to click through to check out that series, as well as some other pieces of work from Buisán. His art first came to my attention when I stumbled upon his "video book" set to Röyksopp's "Happy Up Here". I've been hooked ever since!

Like it or not, her music is all right, and wildly popular; one of the top sellers. You guys just wish you had thought of her costumes first…..LOL!!!!
Since when does mainstream mark what is good? Hh9999? The pure basis of fashion, design or art is that the tastemakers are in the earliest percentages of the curve, innovators or early adopters.

I agree with Nono. Just because it’s mainstream and popular, does not make it good in the least bit. I don’t mind Lady Gaga, certainly don’t harbour any hate for her, but I really think she is over-rated. I tend to avoid Top 40 music, because it really doesn’t have any actual musical meaning to me. It’s only popular because “it’s” what’s IN right now. And next month, next year or next 5 years, “it” will be replaced by something either similar or completely different. A true test of a certain type of music being “good”, is if it’s passed the test of time. Lady Gaga is WAY too new to be saying she’s good. Give her a good 10 years before we can say that. Haha.
I like the art though. And the video is pretty sweet. He probably makes some pretty sweet Tatts XD
Also… I’d really like to meet his inspiration for the red headed darth vader 6th picture down. I have never been so turned on by a drawing XD Haha Also, this is the ultra geek in me talking… Star Wars is the shit, yo!
