Some of the featured artists in our Drawn To You series have come dangerously close to being pornographic. Well, let’s be honest–some of them were just straight-up toon porn. Paul Richmond‘s work doesn’t fall into that category. The male subjects of his paintings channel more of a retro pinup energy. It’s sexy without going overboard, and it helps that he dabbles in politics and extreme campiness every now and then.
Richmond also has done a few delightful holiday prints, and I figured I’d share them with you after being such a Scrooge about Christmas music. I’m loving the one with the naughty boy getting spanked by “Santa”. Then again, I love pretty much anything that has to do with spanking…
