Drawn To You: The Adventures of Tintin

You’re not gonna love this if you don’t know Tintin.

But then, everybody loves Tintin right? The actual graphic novels, though, not that terrifying, uncanny valley movie they tried to crank out a few years ago, right? Nobody liked that. If you don’t know Tintin, I recommend this overly thorough Wikipedia post to catch you up.  Suffice it to say, Tintin was not old enough to be spending this kind of quality time with Captain Haddock in the series, but I’m sure he’s at least 18 here:

I’m very consistently amazed that stories and characters from nearly 100 years ago continue to inspire artists to create fan works like this.  And these are actually just a small sampling of the works that nonick4now has created here. This site has dozens, possibly hundreds more (it seems to be all they draw). All painstakingly crafted and drawn realistically but still with such respect for the original renderings of the characters. When I first found these on tumblr a few weeks ago, I knew immediately that that was Tintin and Haddock.

I’m probably only going to have the chance to get one more Drawn to You post in here (they were always my favorites), so I’ll make it a special one.

  1. Jesus FUCK, those are gorgeous! I totally would have known who they were without identification! That’s serious Dad/Son stuff there and my cock is rock hard looking at them!

  2. Beautifully drawn and yes I immediately knew who they were supposed to be

  3. Oh my goodness, my one and only childhood innocence that was TinTin is now forever shattered with these gorgeous depictions of him and Haddock. I mean, I can now see Haddock as the euphemism describing his endowment!
