Porn star Erik Rhodes may be primarily known for his regular threesomes with designer Marc Jacobs and ex-boyfriend Jason Preston, but I think it's safe to say that he'll soon have a reputation for being incredibly emo. His latest blog entry is full of more angst than my fourteen year-old cousin's journal. And it's even topped off with an insensitive Virginia Tech shooting joke! Fun for the entire family.
We have to admit… we feel kind of bad for the guy. He totally needs some loving (and prescription drugs). We don't like to see our porn stars–or anyone for that matter–in such a depressing funk. Thankfully, we're not the only ones who noticed his situation. Y'all better send over those Snickerdoodles fast, or he might do something drastic! Like writing bad poetry.

Hasn’t he been struggling with depression for a long time, now? Yeah, it’s a shame.
He’s definitely hot, but I’m more obsessed with him because his face and voice (and height) remind me so much of one of my former professors. I’d swear Erik could be his younger brother or nephew or something.

Just took a look at his blog…seems like he’s having an emotional meltdown of some kind where no one to turn to…even his relationship seems to be falling apart….pretty sad…i hope he finds his way thru.
Poor Erik… He is such a great guy and doesn’t see it. I think he should get out of porn and move to a smaller centre to find himself and settle down. He could be a personal trainer amoung other things I’m sure.

he’s a human being and he’s been objectified, not only that, he’s probably objectifying himself. The danger of living life on the surface is just that, what is the purpose of his life? does he have one? On his blog he says it’s the gym and sex, that seems pretty hallow, a life in which you don’t contribute and contribute with love is an empty one. But as long as your breathing, you get all the chances in the world. I hope he’s okay.
