Exclusive Interview With Boomer Banks, An Extremely Well-Hung Gay Porn Newcomer

Boomer Banks is a pretty new face on the porn scene, but he’s already making waves in the industry. Raging Stallion offered him an exclusive contract after shooting just one scene with him. That debut won’t even be out until the middle of next month, but Boomer’s been filming quite a bit. He’s massively hung and a total top, and I for one can’t wait to see the faces of whoever’s got the balls to bottom for him on camera.

That said, I’ve never called someone out of the blue before to say “Hey, your dick is really huge, let’s talk about that,” so this interview was kind of an odd thing to prep for. Luckily, though, Boomer is a really sweet guy with a lot going on—he was actually at the gym for this conversation—and we talked about his other career, his love of New York and about where you can find him later tonight.

Boomer! How’s it going? What’s it like being a buzzed-about porn star?

It’s great. I haven’t even had a scene come out yet. But I think there are two coming out around September 15th, and my solo scene comes out that month as well. And then there’s one more I’ve done after that, and I’m scheduled to do three more in the next two months.

Tell us a little about that first scene.

The title of the feature is Timberwolves. It’s all about fetishizing hairy men. I’m not that hairy myself, but they paired me with a very furry bottom, which was awesome. Shawn Wolfe is in it, and Tommy Defendi and James Jamesson. He actually plays a wolf. It’s exciting, and it was a nice cast to work with. Everyone’s been really sweet so far.

Was shooting everything you expected it to be?

I had no expectations. And I’ve only worked with Steve Cruz and Bruno [Bond] so far, but they’re both amazing. It’s just an adventure, and I’m looking forward to it right now. For me, there is an end goal. Porn is not the be all and end all for me. It’s just something in my path. There are a lot of awesome fans, and I like having sex and showing off. I didn’t know that part until recently. Not being conceited about it, but I like giving these people what they want to see.

And how is this affecting your regular life?

With my friends, once we have the porn conversation one time, it never comes up again. It is a job, though. It is definitely a job. And a production.

I’m actually a fashion designer, and a while ago, I started go-go dancing and escorting to fund the fashion business. I’m still doing that, but my life is so crazy these days. I also promote and throw parties here in New York. I’ll be doing one tonight, actually. It’s called Snapshot at EVR, it’s one of my first public appearances as Boomer Banks. Amanda Lepore hosts it and Marco Ovando, who’s a nightlife photographer. She’s always a hoot to work with, and he takes black and white photos of the get-ups that people show up in. I’m so social that I love stuff like that.

You’re something of a nightlife fixture in New York then.

I was born in Mexico and raised in LA, and it wasn’t until I moved to NYC two years ago that I found myself at home and became this extroverted person, and very much me, finally. I’m definitely not a California boy. And it’s true. I was the very first go-go dancer at Westgay, and I’m one of the staples there as well. Snapshot has a similar sort of crowd, a lot of fashion nightlife and Brooklyn queens. It’s an awesome picture of New York.

Tell me a little more about the fashion.

I went to school in LA for fashion, I started when I was twenty-four. My specialty is women, but I’m actually starting to focus on a men’s line. More wearable everyday stuff. Women’s is my passion, and I’m a billion percent more sure about my women’s work, but things are kind of evolving. Fans are actually interested in the fashion side of things. I’ve had more people asking to see my designs than asking when my first scene is coming out. I’m actually planning some dresses for my drag queen friends in the next few weeks. It’s more costumey, but it will be fun.

You seem like you’ve got a lot of projects going on.

If I put myself out there to do something I’m going to do it right. When I agree to something, I give 110%. So for right now, it’s all about the porn. I’m blown away that I was asked to be an exclusive after one scene. The Raging Stallion team made me feel comfortable and sexy, and that makes for a good movie.

Since you mentioned porn again I guess I should ask you to start talking about your dick. It’s probably the first thing people notice.

When they see me naked it is, haha. It’s always a surprise, though. Even people that have seen pictures of it are surprised when they see it in person. And people I know are always like, “I never would have guessed.” And my response is “Why would you? We’ve never slept together.” I started fooling around when I was nineteen, so I knew right away that it was big. But I know some bigger men where that kind of becomes them, and it affects their attitude. But it’s just another part of me.

You’re a total top, right?

One-hundred percent top. Maybe Boomer Banks will one day bottom, but if he does, it’s going to be a big deal. Like a gangbang big deal. You might as well, right?

And that extends to real life as well?

Um, you know. You see what’s going on, and then people who claim to be tops convert… I’m a great kisser, too.
