Have your recent airline ventures been a little less than glamorous? Well, have no fear! Australian comedian Pam Ann is here to save the day. She's specifically flown into the USA to "bring fabulousness back to flying", and she's pretty much the only person fit for such a grueling challenge.
We got a chance to briefly talk to Pam about her character, traveling and how everyone in our office thought she was actually a drag queen. Check out our interview, and if you like what you read… be sure to check out her latest one-woman comedy show. Dates and locations can be found here. The first stop will take place tomorrow night at Boston's Colony Theatre, and we hope to see you there!

When did you wake up and decide to create the character Pam Ann? What was it about airline humor that you were drawn to?
Pam Ann was born out of a bottle of Absolut Vodka! I love to do a themed birthday party as much as every gay I know loves to! I dressed as a Pan Am airhostess at my James Bond themed party. I thought a friend at the party called me PAM ANN!! I woke up the next day with a massive hangover and that was the day Pam Ann was born! I wasn’t drawn to airline humor. It was all about the style of the '60s jet set. The comedy came later, as did my obsession with the airline industry
Are you a member of the mile high club?
No. Pam Ann is though. She founded it!
Out of all the airline delicacies, which do you think are most tasty?
I love a good cheese and wine menu personally… washed down with a Xanax!
We have a thing for Australian men, mostly Hugh Jackman. Who are some of the other hunks that you're hiding down under?
Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman make a great couple! I am not so into Aussie men personally. I like a Greek or Italian! Not sure what else is hiding in OZ, but I am sure it will crawl out from under a rock soon or come out of the closet!
My co-workers thought you were actually a drag queen. How do you react to that?
Well I went to the school of Dragatic Art in Melbourne! My drags and trannies are my sistas! You can call me anything you like.
You've shared the same air as both Elton John and Cher. Is there any gay icon who you're still dying to meet or collaborate with?
Madonna!
On that note, in all your travels… is there still any location that you're still dying to visit?
Karachi. It just sounds so international and exotic
Hypothetically, airport security just pulled you aside. What did they find in your bag that they shouldn't have?
Cocaine wedged up my arse, in a kinda surprise!!!!
And a question to you at MANHUNT! Why can’t I join up on MANHUNT's website?
I wanna see cock too! Please give me a login name and password. Watch out gays! It could be me you’re talking to. (laughs)
LOVE. HER. And I’m going to see her next weekend in San Francisco!! Yay Pam Ann!!
Are you kidding me? I just missed her Boston show tonight.
I don’t have anything profound to add, can’t think of any words that seem likely to bring comfort or consolation, but I’m here, reading, and hoping one day a ‘perfect’day reminds you of him and it makes you smile more than cry, heals more than it hurts.
