Pop quiz! I am sharing this picture of Fucked Up frontman Damian Abraham—a) To troll you harder than this story trolled people who don’t read the fine print or check their sources, b) Because I legitimately find him attractive, c) To convince a few chubby-chasers and bear lovers to listen to his new single, or d) Because I’m a witch.
You might find the answer to this question in Fucked Up’s music video for “Inside A Frame”, which overlaps the Toronto-based band’s hardcore punk sound with cheesy, choreographed dance sequences. Then again, you might not find the answer. Damian isn’t actually in the video.
(This post goes out to anyone who says we always post the same ol’ crap in our music section. This post also goes out to my ears… Because I like this damn song, and I don’t care whether or not you think it’s “real music”. Whatever! You’re not my real mom.)

That’s an… odd… song. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad. It’s not quite hardcore, and it’s not quite pop-punk, either. But then, I’m from Jersey, and hardcore has a very distinct sound here.
