Gay Friendly Colleges by Princeton Review

NYU Campus

The Princeton Review has ranked the most gay friendly colleges in America and the results are not really surprising, but still good to know. Also, your beloved blogger attended one and can testify to it's gay friendliness.

On top is New York University, where the gays can roam free and maybe even sneak a kiss here and there. Oh who are we kidding, that campus is one big gay orgy!

So check out the other schools that made the cut. If you went to one tell me if it really was that gay friendly. Maybe you can even speculate on which one I attended!

  1. The list only has 19 schools – NYU is #1. They just started the list at 1 instead of 2.

  2. Simon’s Rock College of Bard? Is that where Elton John and George Michael went?

  3. I went to Warren Wilson College and I can’t believe we’re only #16, there’s so much gay here you can’t swing a dead cat without hittin’ a queer

  4. Wright State Univ in Dayton Ohio is pretty gay for Ohio. And so is the Cincinnati Creative Arts school at UC. Very fucking gay there..just saying’

  5. I have to say DePaul beats all of them. They have a queer studies program and are walking distance from boystown chicago. It is like gay world here…

  6. I’m surprised SU (Syracuse University) is not on the list. SU is very gay-friendly, has queer-studies and is extremely welcoming and champions equal rights.

  7. Can someeone do a list of the least gay-friendly colleges. Because I am pretty sure that my college was near the top.

  8. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW PRINCETON REVIEW CALCULATES THEIR “GAY FRIENDLY RANK” I’m not 100% sure but I do remember feeling out a survey in college that might have been Princeton Review related.
The least gay friendly I would assume has to be BYU along with its affiliates (BYU-Idaho and maybe BYU-Hawaii) then all the military schools: ie Air Force, Army, Navy, VMI, Citadel
I wish http://www.soulforce.org/equalityride actually had an easy way to find out the list of anti-gay colleges they went to. Their trip did include Pepperdine in Malibu, CA and Notre Dame.
I wish Princeton Review did a gay friendly college list with schools that have over 20K in attendance. I’m pretty sure that colleges 3-20 are all below 15K.
