You may think gay Moroccan writer Abdellah Taia is a tad self centered when you learn he's written 5 auto-biographies. From gay trysts as a teenager to sexual attraction to his own brother–his story is so intriguing it could easily fill 10 books.
In a country where laws against homosexuality still sit on the books, Taia has been able to raise the profile of gay rights in Morrocco beyond wildest expectations.
In his newest work, L'armee du Salut ("Salvation Army"), he talks about his decision to leave that homophobic society and move to Paris, and about his younger days of confusion over sexual attraction to his own older brother.
He says in an interview with Al-bab, "I wrote in the book that twice a week I used to help him to wash his
hair. Just a little boy putting water on his big brother’s head and
forgetting that that man is his brother. I wanted to do so many things
with him, to touch his neck, to play with his hair, to dry him, to kiss
the clean skin of his hands."
Kind of reminds me of this movie. The brother lovin' I don't quite understand, but his story seems pretty interesting as a whole.

hmm.. a pic of a guy with spotty facial hair, moles, a mustachio, and no chest/body in sight
not to mention the blog body is too boring and long to bother reading
I guess that means I get the first comment! woo.
seriously, what’s this post about? has anybody read it before checking my comment? I saw the word brother and homosexuality together, which almost made me read further..
