Get up close and personal with Gus Kenworthy as the gay Olympian provides one-on-one ski lessons at the Madeline Hotel and Residences this month. This holiday season, Kenworthy, the silver medalist in the men’s slopestyle event at the 2014 Winter Olympics, will take you down his favorite trails near his hometown of Telluride, Colorado.
Kenworthy came out in ESPN the Magazine in 2015, saying “I wanted to do it in my words and once and for all — and hopefully help kids that are in the same position I was.” At the 2018 Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, he and figure skater Adam Rippon represented the LGBTQ+ community as out gay Olympians.
The 2022 Winter Olympics hopeful continues to train daily, but for two days this December a few lucky Madeline hotel guests will be with Kenworthy as he offers key ski tips, and shares the secret of “landing impressive tricks to look like a pro.”
The package, also includes access to a some of Kenworthy’s favorite post-ski relaxation and recovery products. You’ll need it after trying to keep up with the Olympian.
“He knows his recovery routine off the mountain is just as important as his training,” says the hotel website. “Get an insider’s peek into Gus’s après-ski regimen, and reduce pain and soreness, rejuvenate tired muscles, and accelerate recovery with some of his favorite gear, including Normatec recovery systems, a Hypervolt percussion massage device, and more, all while listening to a relaxing playlist on his favorite Know Headphones, personally compiled by Gus.”
This once-in-a-lifetime experience comes in at $10,000 for up to four people (that’s just $2,500 per person). Book now for this offer limited to December 23 and 24.
