There are reports of a Ghostbusters sequel being the works! This would be the third film, and would come a full 20 years after the hilarious second film.
The producers of the hit show The Office have reportedly been tapped to write the third installment of the classic… hope they don’t screw it up!
I’ve always been a big fan of both, so this is exciting news, but it does bring up the question of whether Hollywood is legitimately out of fresh ideas. It seems the movie industry is relying more and more on re-makes, sequels, ‘re-inventions’ and the like. I think it speaks to a larger homogenization of society, but I’m getting way ahead of myself!
