Gleek Out: Brittany Meets Britney

You may have heard that Glee will be doing an episode dedicated to Britney Spears. Well, now there’s visual proof. The self-proclaimed “living legend” recently tweeted a picture with actress Heather Morris, who you may know more affectionately as the character Brittany.

Their pose will look awfully familiar to dedicated Britney fans, and even the more casual listeners could guess what song they’ll be performing. Of course, this begs the question–will these two be locking lips? Given how much Glee knows their fanbase, it’s bound to happen!

  1. Who cares if Terry is some 50 year old leather bear whos overwight. I agree with him. I thought this site was dedicated toward manly men for men who wanted them. If Manhunt is going to be blogging about all sorts of teeny-bopper shit, I would like to cancel my memebership also.

  2. god forbid the site shows a little bit for everyone… you dont hear the younger twinky guys screwm in a hissy fit they’re going to cancel their membership every time there’s a blog of some hairy 40 yr old…

  3. gosh, terry & kennedy… must be relatives!

    anyhow, to answer your concerns:

    1. manhuntdaily is free. u r not paying shit to anyone here.

    2. would u rather have no post instead of a ‘teen’ post? i’m sure many ppl wouldn’t

    3. both britney spears and glee are ‘gay concerns’ want it or not, so a lot of gay men are happy to see this post.

    4. if u rather read about squirrels or new leather shoes, then maybe this blog is not for u.

bye! no one will miss u here

  4. it’s not like this is the only post today.. there are some other boy skin posts u can stare at..for hours.

and yes.. Glee is so much for gay people.
I personally love to see this post.

  5. Shifting gears, I’m actually glad that Britney has calmed down and gotten her career back in gear. I wish her best of luck with this turn on “Glee”!

  6. I’m not a fan of Glee or anything “teenie bopper” (seriously, that was so 1999). But do you hear me bitching like those bitches above (terry & kennedy).

This site is free. But if you guys want to go ahead and cancel your membership at Manhuhnt, then you have a right to do so. But, you’d look dumb for doing since cancelling has nothing to do with this site.

This is a site for gay and bisexual men, which offers something for EVERYONE who reads this blog. So please take the tampons out of your asses and stop complaining about shit!!!

  7. Oh and Dewitt, I don’t know you at all, but you must have some really thick skin. You read what these assholes post everyday, yet you continue doing what you do best.

BIG UPS TO DEWITT AND THE REST OF THE CREW AT MANHUNTDAILY!!!!!

  8. @The Dude: Dewitt’s a great guy. Awesomely funny when he wants to be, but sometimes serious. Honestly, it shocks me how Dewitt and the rest of Team Manhunt can cater to such a wide crowd without disappointing someone.

As for Glee, this should be an interesting meet. I don’t really like Britany Spears, or Glee, but I may watch the episode.

  9. Have never seen 15 seconds of Glee, and i never will. Though it’s good to see Britney working again, doing what she loves.

  10. Hey Kennedy…just a quick question. Where exactly does it say “manly men?”

Also, no one specifically called it a sex blog. There are current events posts, music debuts, break out actors/rising stars, etc., etc.

Young, twinky guy? More like old, naggy queen.

  11. Gosh…I don’t understand how a tv show that is about a show choir (aka people who can SING), is dedicating a whole show to someone who can’t sing. Britney has an extremely limited vocal range, no power and requires a good hand in the studio to make her sound marginally good. I realize not everyone needs to have Dusty Springfield artistry, but still..Britney and her music are just WAY too maufactured for my tastes.

  12. I do love Glee, but it’s not known for having good writing or music. Honestly I feel like the hype is going to die down if they don’t do some legitimately good this season. And Britney Spears is not it.

  13. @Randal

Watch this out: The episode featuring Britney will be the most viewed Glee episode ever. Just remember that for when you read the news the next day.

  14. Manhunt Daily is a well organized, easy to navigate Blog. The solution is easy…don’t read what doesn’t interest you. We aren’t fans of Britney and we don’t watch Glee, but it’s good to know Manhunt Daily is diverse enough to provide something for everyone. Sex is a HUGE part of our life, but we do have other interest. It’s great to know Manhunt realizes this too. Again, the solution is easy…DON’T READ WHAT DOES NOT INTEREST YOU!

    C & E

  15. WOW!

Britney is TOTALLY gay related, so is Glee. Look for an older serious men blog cause the MANHUNT DAILY BLOG is for DIVERSE individuals.

I cant wait for this episode! So much hype around it too!

I’m with @Nex on this one, It will be their highest ratings, just like Britney delivered to How I Met Your Mother 😉

It’s incredible how bitter some gay men are and how much they complain!!! Grow Up dudes, life’s too short for all this

  16. Is it me or does anyone notice the Madonna and Brittney snap shot there? The music video “Me Against the Machine”. Nice!

  17. @Roll2Dialog2

ye it’s a copy of Britney and Modonna music video, however in the photo, Britney is being ‘Madonna’ this time.

It’s “Me against the Music” by the way 🙂

  18. Good for her! She looks amazing! She sure cleans up well! She does really well at comedy..!

  19. ToddM, YES. Seriously. There’s nothing special or notable about Britney’s voice. It’s not strong and while I’ll freely admit her music is incredibly popular, it’s the music and image that attract people to Britney, NOT her barely passable singing voice. No one ever hears a Britney Spears record and thinks “Wow! The vocals on that song were killer!” unless they’ve been electronically manipulated to sound good.

    Britney is completely overrated.

  20. Living legend, yeah right! maybe to bad taste, bad manners, bad image and just WHO REALLY GIVES A SHIT!!!

  21. Javier, I think you misunderstood. I wasn’t disagreeing with you about Britney. I was disagreeing about the statement that Glee had good singing…

  22. Ahhh….I hear ya. I don’t think they always do have the best singers, true. I have been pretty impressed by a few numbers they did (Everything’s Coming Up Roses to name one) though.

  23. I miss the days when gays were supposed to be classy and only interested in the best of what culture had to offer… Britney Spears is amusing when you’re drunk and want to dance. There is no excuse for adults to watch Glee.

  24. Glee is simply a guilty pleasure for me. There’s no introspect, just plain fun and singing along with a few themes about teenage angst. I don’t think the show is popular only among gays, though it does reach a broad demographic.

As for Manhunt. Still not keen on the redesign. DeWitt is still a moron with his baiting techniques on some of the most frivolous subjects; and often pitting bloggers against one another. Drama at its finest.

  25. Navysausage: Isn’t that the typical gay thing? To cause drama? lol I agree. I think sometimes, we are his puppets, entertaining him throughout his course of life.

  26. Wow! You guys really hate Britney huh?

I for one love her, sure you older man think your taste is better and what now but that was 10, 20 years ago.

Britney is the Queen Of Pop for my generation! She is the best selling female artist of the last decade, she has 32 singles, sold over 130 million records and is still going strong.

Hate her as much as you want, she’s laughing all the way to the bank!

As someone already said, this will be the highest rated episode for glee thus far, and it’s all because of her.

You can’t deny her star power and her influence in pop culture.

So keep buying your 70’s, 80’s and 90’s collections and let is enjoy the right now!

    😉

  27. Hate is a strong word. I don’t hate her. You are right. She is the Queen of Pop for your generation. But look at what her competition has been.
Again, I don’t hate her. But I can honestly and thankfully say she’s never got one dime from me. I plan on keeping it that way. And let me explain myself before you go off calling me a hater again. Look at how she has handled fame and success. Not well at all. I think that is why people don’t like her.

  28. @ToddM – yes you have the right to dislike her if you wish, besides everyone is different and unique… the world would be horrible if we were all the same right? I respect your opinion and although i love her i dont mind if u dont, as i probably dont like your music either. But all im saying is you cant judge her and decide why others dont like her. If you dont like her because of the way she is and the way she has handled success than thats your choice. But that really pisses me off as people that dislike her for the way she has acted are just being the stereotypical prick.

All people with fame have their ups and downs – every famous person has done wrong and right and all cope with it differently. Its not all to do with fame though… when she had her breakdown it was more because of her personal life (breakups, child custody, family deaths) etc. combined with her fame. Seriously i think she handled it quiet well compared to a lot of people. I know from experience as i was a Britney disliker because i was braught up like that. Then i watched her documentary and relised shes pretty wonderful. No she is not perfect, and this makes me like her even more, as shes not jsut another plastic stereotypic famous barbie doll women. and jsut wait, every famous person will have their turn at failure.

  29. this was bound to be a heavily-discussed thread ^^

haters will always hate and be jealous ^^

but we’ll just laugh along and be happy for Britney, cos she is such a sweetheart.

  30. Britney is imperfect and this is what I love about her.

She has been through so much in her life that I respect her for coming back and taking some control of her life.

She is extremely humble and every person who has ever worked with her has nothing but great things to say about Britney.

She is down a down to earth southern gal and hasn’t let her fame get to her.

She is extremely successful and no one can deny that.

You guys can dislike her as much as you want. But all the other Pop Queen’s from previous generations had their flaws too, but no of them ever got their personal life as exposed as she did.

Take 5 minutes to watch some of the paparazzi footage of Britney and you will see how the girl never has a moment to herself of her kids, more than any other celebrity right now.

Let’s see how you would all deal with that much media attention since you were 16.

As Madonna herself said, people have the privilege of making mistakes without the whole world putting a magnifying glass over it. She didn’t.

  31. I never said that no one else should like her because of my opinion.
Here’s my deal: She was someone for girls to look up to. I wouldn’t want my daughter looking up to her. It’s not just her. I had issues with Michael Jackson as well. I know that they all have had ups and downs. But it’s in how you handle it. And she handled it poorly. Period.
I’m not here to tick people off. I just gave my opinion. Sheesh.

  32. @ToddM She never claimed to be anyone’s role model. People just placed her in that category. When asked how she feels about being a role model she said she is human like everyone else and makes mistakes. She wants to be an inspiration, not a role model.

She handled her fame in a bad way, she was 25 and still learning. People make mistakes, as I am very sure you have also.

Plus, if you don’t think Britney is the kind of person you want your kids looking up to then do something about it. It’s easy to blame the artist and not the parents.

What about violent movies, video games, TV and even rappers? What Britney has done and what she still does is her prerogative as a free adult, she should not limit her life and music because little kids may or may not think that’s ok. No one seems to think Gaga killing people on her music videos is wrong because it’s “art”

Our past president was a dick and you don’t see kids saying “Wow I wanna be like George Bush! I want to invade a country and kill people.”

This logic to me just doesnt make sense.

No one is forced to like Britney and not everyone will or should. I dislike plenty of things.

My whole point is that people who dislike Britney need to find many reasons to do so instead of just saying she isnt their cup of tea. And this is hypocrisy because I am sure many of the artist they like have made mistakes, handled situations incorrectly but because they are biased they dont see it or chose not to.

I love Britney for who she is! She doesnt sing live, she goes out of her house looking terrible one day and amazing the next. She is an easy target and people will believe anything the media tells them. But how much of that is true we will never know because we dont live inside her house nor do we know her personally.

  33. Thiago, You are making plenty of assumptions about me. Please refrain. You don’t know me.
I saw an interview with Britney when she first hit success, and she stated that she wanted to be a role model for girls her age and younger. Then, when she screwed up, she made the statement you refer to.
Second, I don’t care for GaGa’s music either, or for her whole persona. Much for the very same reasons I don’t care for Britney. I don’t just aim it at one person. I’m VERY selective as to who I listen to. Fact is, nine times out of ten, when I’m in my truck, I don’t even turn the radio on. If I do, it’s tuned to a cd of artists that I know personally. And that is fact.
I’m not sure what George Bush has to do with this. That’s a whole different kind of discussion.

  34. What is it typical to like Lady Gaga because your gay, so much for fighting stereotypes.

Fall back, because Britney is a living legend and your tranny goddess could never amount to what Britney has become.

  35. ToodM seriously you can’t possibly dislike her because she makes mistake. She’s been under the microscope for many years and she was patient and after having a baby and going through divorce and on top of that the paparazzi got over her head.
She is the sweetest person in Hollywood and she is very beautiful.
Mistakes are there to be learned from and the past is the past you can’t do nothing about it. Britney changed her ways now and she is in a better place, she is a nice person you’re just not trying hard to get to know her.
you would fall in love with her if only you try getting to know her.
She is very smart and knows how to act and never let her fame gets to her head.

can we move on from the past already?

  36. Ok. I’m going to say this so I can clear things up. Or at least try to. I don’t like people thinking I’m a jerk. Seriously.
I really liked Britney when she first came out on the scene. She was a breath of fresh air. But when she started lip syncing to her songs and dressing trashy, that’s when she lost me. It was long before all of her breakdowns. I know from personal experience that fame is hard to deal with. I’ve not had an ounce as much of fame as she has had, and I struggled with it. So, I can’t fault her for that. I just wish she would have stayed true to her roots. What got her to the top in the first place. That’s all I’m saying.
I hope that makes a little more sense than what I’ve been trying to say.

  37. @ToddM I’m sorry if I came across as rude and defensive. It was not my intention and a lot of what I said was aimed at other posts, not just yours! I have seen many of your comments before and agree with you on a lot of things also.

  38. Todd i get your point but it’s not about changing herself /her roots, she changed her self because she doesn’t want to be seen as that little girl because people were very overprotective toward her. She grew up and wanted to change her image and she did and nothing wrong with that.

now she’s grown big time and more mature than ever before and you’ll like her if you’ll get to know her.
she is a very strong person and coming back big after falling down from grace is a huge and respectable thing to do.

  39. Oh! And I meant to address this too! A couple of you keep saying I dislike her. I never said that! I don’t dislike her. I just wish she would have stayed true to the music and her roots. ie: lip syncing and such. As a professional musician, that bothers me! People pay to hear you sing live. Not mouth the words to a recording. That’s all I’m saying! Please quit putting words in my mouth! 🙂

  40. If she can come back, more power to her! I love a story like that! I really do. As far as getting to know her, I’m nowhere near her. So I personally can’t do that.

  41. Thank you, Thiago. I appreciate your kindness. I know what I’m thinking, but putting it into words is not my best ability sometimes. I hope I’ve cleared up what I tried to say earlier.

  42. You guys are still at this? OMG! Guys! Grow up! enough is enough! The bitch is a grown ass woman! Let her make her mistakes and let her learn from them!

We are all free to love who ever and what ever. We are all free to dislike who ever and what ever!

Dewitt, You’re a dork for all this shit! How do you sleep at night knowing that you’re making guys argue with each other?

  43. I didn’t know we were arguing, Kennedy. Sheesh! If you’ll notice, we ended the discussion very civilized. That’s what happens on a blog/discussion board. But then you come along and get emotional. Wow!
