Was planning on coming out but that video scared me straight
I wish you would stop making everything so gay. Some of us like men, not all of us want to dance around with naked guys all the time. Stop giving people “anthems” and start trying to make people understand we’re not all the same.
This song might speak to those who were fabulously out at birth but not to most others, in my opinion. Power to Aziz for the video but a coming out anthem for all this sure ain’t.

Sorry Mr. Harvey, but can’t get behind this one. Not exactly sure what an over sequenced/glittered shim grabbing it’s crotch would have to do with someone who is closeted making the decision to come out. For many men who are not yet comfortable with themselves as being gay, this video may actaully be terrifying.

Very interesting,..not how I would choose to portray myself but good to see that someone is afraid to be themselves….to all the people hating this doesn’t mean all gay men should or do act like this,…but some in fact DO choose to express themselves and their gayness this way,….good for them!
I have to agree with, well, almost everyone here. The song’s beat is ok, the lyrics arn’t bad, but all in all a comming out day anthem it is not, being if people are just coming out, you can’t expect them to put on body glitter and a thong and dance around.
You know, in the over-sized sequine dress thing, he isn’t unattactive. And as for the “tone-it-down”philes, can YOU bring it down a notch? We get it… Fishing, cars, ball sports, wrenches. Blah. What did tons of straight guys do in the 80’s? Make up,hair, falsetto, etc. So, just because he’s gay the way he dresses or acts is then gay? I agree with most of those that have posted. This video scared me back into the closet. I don’t take this blog too seriously as PMAA would believe, but to declare this a coming out anthem is ludicrous at best. I think people need to realize that to be gay does not mean you necessarily sashay when you walk or throw confetti in the air when you enter a room. We hate that the mainstream society stereotypes us all, but I gotta say that as a whole, we bring it on ourselves. And this video proves it.
