There are VETERAN GAY PORN DUDES WORKING RIGHT NOW that don’t look as natural in sex scenes with other dudes like straight actor Tyler W. French does in Hunting Season. As I watched the latest episode’s sex scene between French’s character Reese and main guy Alex (Ben Baur), I found myself disbelieving that French is straight. I know, it’s called “acting.” But for reals, not many hetero actor dudes are into their craft enough to lose themselves completely with another male actor like that. Ffffuuucccckkk.
Mr. French should teach a class. Watch the latest episode here to see what I’m raving about.

Interesting to learn that he is straight. It shows he’s a good actor, because in watching the episode that never even occurred to me.

This “show” is just a canned and cheesey as “queer as folk” was. And similarly shitty production values. Although, you accept that about “Hunting” b/c it’s a web series. But it’s kindof sad how much this show wants to present itself as a gay dude “Girls”, except with no wit. This show makes me depressed about our (decaying) gay wit and culture, and i’m 24! This is just crappy soft core dribble. Love you anyway MHD!

You are way too young to be that jaded. Yes, web series’ typically have low production values but the good ones do the best with what they have; “Awkward Black Girl” comes to mind.
And really?!.. “decaying gay wit and culture”. You’re 24!! You sound like Karl Lagerfeld waving a big-ass Spanish fan!… So freakin’ snobby!
This show is pretty much spot on to the source material, which is also “soft core dribble”. And it doesn’t present itself as anything more than that.
You can either enjoy it… or don’t, but don’t stand on a pedestal and try to rant about how this one thing somehow represents everything that’s wrong with gay culture. You’re commenting on a porn blog for Christ’s sake. No one’s pretending they enjoy this for the narrative.
