Heterosexual Priests Just As Likely To Molest You

A new study by researchers at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice is showing that there's no evidence that gay priests are more likely than heterosexual clergy to molest children. The full report won't be completed until the end of next year, but so far researchers have found no evidence suggesting otherwise.

Keep in mind that the study is distinguishing between sexual identity and sexual behavior, suggesting that we "look at who the offender had access to when seeking victims". Whatever the case may be, what do you think of the study?

  1. Surely you mean paedophile priests who identify as gay or hetro. To my mind there is a distinction here

  2. agree with Peter, pedophiles will be pedophiles and prey on kids they techinically aren’t gay or straight just sickos either way

  3. Most pedophiles wouldn’t identify as either gay or straight, as most pedophiles don’t care about gender. Yes, each person has their own “desires” (for lack of a better word) and will sometimes set up a M.O. to fit. But for most it has to do with the hairlessness, innocence and stuff like that
