Well, the numbers are in as of last Friday, and you’ve selected Alex Minsky as your Sexiest Man of The Year. It’s not exactly difficult to see why he won based on aesthetics alone, but if you’re still wondering what all the fuss is about, you should probably know a bit about his story.
The former US Marine lost his right leg while serving in Afghanistan, overcame a severe drinking problem and came out on top as a successful male model. He can currently be seen in a large portion of underwear brand Jack Adams‘ promotional materials, and did we mention that he looks like this?
Last month, we somehow missed Minsky’s editorial feature in OUT magazine, as captured by photography team Therese + Joel. Most of these shots are a little more creatively-driven than your standard masturbatory material, but alas, a picture of Alex Minsky’s butt is still a picture of Alex Minsky’s butt… And these images are quite stunning.

fyi, his tattoos are in part to cover some of the scarring from his injuries.

Actually that’s not why he has the Tats at all. On his instagram he posted a pic of himself without them before his war injuries and mentioned how disgusting he looked without the tats. So his tats are not to hide anything. They’re more along the lines of if someone wants to get plastic surgery because they don’t like the way they look. He also said he wants to get every inch of his body inked and that when he retires from modeling he plans on doing his face. He also mentioned that he didn’t want to put tats on his leg that’s gone as a reminder of what he sacrificed.
It’s possible he may think his body without tattoos was ugly AND that he also got tattoos in part to cover up scarring. The two are not mutually exclusive. I am almost positive I read somewhere that he had some tattoos done to hide scarring. Either way, it’s up to him. I don’t care. I’m just happy he’s showing off his body to the world. I ain’t mad at that. He’s hot as fuck
