It only bothers me to watch porn with dead actors if it’s unprotected sex from the pre-condom era and I know the actors died of AIDS, like Scott O’Hara or Jon King. It’s not fun to watch a guy get infected or infect someone else.

I think some people are trying way too hard to compare apples to oranges. Yes, it’s all entertainment but porn has never made a personal impact on someone’s life as music, movies or a tv show. Nobody lives forever. If you do think its distasteful, how long do you wait for? Many gay porn stars from the 70s and 80s have passed away but is it distasteful to jerk off to their movies? Perhaps Arpad’s hot scenes are still fresh in everyone’s minds so it seems inappropriate to some people atm. I’m sure that will change as his scenes become recognised as ‘classics’, as most of them are.

I guess, after reading all the comments, that I am in the minority when saying when I learn of a porn stars death, I just cannot watch their movies again. Porn & porn stars are part fantasy, and watching them & fanticising about that “could be you” with him in that scene, or of one day meeting, or conjuring up some other fantasy about them. I’m with you. I was such an Arpad fan, that I couldn’t even look at those pics of him smiling without thinking about about the circumstances of his death.
