I am not creating drama, but I do want to know if he was drunk or just has a lisp. Because he pronounced it “Massachu-SESS” when he was naming off the states in which same-sex marriage is legal. If he was drunk, I understand. People get stage fright and getting engaged is terrifying. If he has a lisp, I think it’s hot. Taking a stereotypical gay feature that you have and proudly showing it off is POWER.
It just stood out, because (as you probably know) Manhunt HQ is in Massachusetts so we’re very attuned to any mention of the Bay State.
Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson announces his engagement to his fiance Justin Mikita at the same time as introducing his new charity, Tie The Knot, in this vid. It’s a site that’s going to be selling hot bowties beginning in November, with proceeds going to pro-marriage equality activist groups.
That’s totally awesome, but my wedding is in October! It’s only a couple of weeks away! I was all ready to march the bowtie I already purchased at Nordstrom right back to “Returns” and pick up my wedding tie on Tie The Knot. DAMN YOUR TIMING, MITCHELL!
Anyway, check out the cute vid of this cute,soon-to-be-married couple. And recently someone made a snide remark to me about getting married to my partner while working for Manhunt. As if I troll for dick in between writing blog posts (I don’t do that. Anymore.) As if people who trick on Manhunt can’t actually meet anyone long-term. I can name at least five (ok, we have a millions of members so that’s not exactly a lot but it’s still a number) couples who met their boyfriend, partner or yes, HUSBAND on Manhunt. It happens. Granted, there’s probably more hot n’ horny fucking going down then actually dating on Manhunt. But, still, IT HAPPENS!

I do so dislike fem gay guys like Jesse who are the stereotypical reason half the straight world demean us all. Why do men have to act that way? His boyfriend is kind of hot though.

CONGRATULATIONS!
“Half the straight world” demeans because they are ignorant–not because we are true to whatever our personality might be.

I get tired of gay guys who figuratively and literally suck straight people’s ducks for acceptance. Who cares if he’s considered to be “fem”? He has more courage than these self proclaimed straight acting gays who hide behind straight men’s shadows. Get over it.
Another point is that perhaps the reason you’re not seeing people who we might not consider “stereotypical” or “fem” is because people demean gays in the first place. We see people who act “gay” and recognize them as such more than your normal guy (although who’s to say what’s normal behavior in the first place) because they happen to have a strong personality that reflects certain behavior; likewise we very typically label people “straight” if they drink a lot of beer, watch football, and have a deep voice (which are all also stereotypes).
There may be many more people who “act straight” who are in fact gay who don’t ever come out because gays are demonized in the first place. The fact of the matter is that it’s not because there are “fem” people out there who are gay-there are fem straight guys and masc gay guys-it’s because the concept is foreign to people in everyday life (even though it’s been around forever so it baffles me why it isn’t commonplace yet).
In the end, people are the way they are. If you’re gay, you’re gay and we should all accept you for that (I do!), and if people act “fem,” they act “fem.” You might not like them personally, but remember they have a journey too and are the way they are for a reason.
Um, I’m pretty sure “Modern Family” has made a portion of the straight world demean us LESS…
Is Jesse “fem?” I know he’s not the most macho guy out there but I wouldn’t consider him “fem.”
I agree. Far too much duck-sucking going on. Fucking mallards.

Haha, he does it twice!! At first I thought ‘J, he just had one little slip up, it happens.’ but he says it twice!! He probably just says it like that.
This video was funny, enjoyable, and I wish Tyler Ferguson was always looking at me and saying ‘concubine’ while doing that tongue flick thing.
Also, congrats! I hope everyone gets as drunk as Tyler is in this vid. unless you’re having a dry wedding. Then I hope everyone’s as cute as the puppy.
Why are you the way you are? And what kinda duck am I for asking?

Thanks for sharing your douche-tastic internalized homophobia with us. Is your profile “I’m Jimmy T the fuckinest masc musc fag in the world and I don’t lisp?”
