A while back, Andy reported on some gossip that Lady Gaga may be in some financial trouble after spending too much on her extravagant shows and costumes. Now, rumor has it that she’s on the verge of a mental breakdown, as a result of her heavy touring schedule and break-up with her boyfriend Speedy.
“We’re worried she is going to have a breakdown if she keeps going on like this,” a friend told Look magazine. “She’s clearly heartbroken and exhausted and she should slow down and look after herself. But even though she says she’s ruined her life, it’s as if she’s addicted to the fame.”
Just as I was starting to feel sorry for Gaga, I noticed that the next paragraph of this article was promoting the upcoming re-release of her debut album, The Fame: Monster. I have to give her team kudos for this clever bit of viral marketing. While sticking to the theme of her album, they’ve managed to turn a press release into tabloid fodder!

Her elaborate costumes/ performances are crazy cool, and she is touring like crazy so it’s possible.
