Josey Greenwell’s DNA

If this is the current face of country, get me to Nashville. Josey Greenwell is an up and coming country singer who just happens to be brutally hot. He’s also a smart one, because he’s courting the gays with this DNA magazine shoot. Like Samantha Jones said in an episode of Sex and the City, “first the gays, then the girls.”

That shot of him perking his buttcheeks out in the shower, pow!

Josey won the Colgate County Showdown in 2006, and counts Britney Spears among his friends. He can also count me as a friend. A friend whom he hopefully fucks a lot.

  1. How many moles did they have to airbrush off his face?  I’d like to see what he actually looks like….

  2. Do you think he actually knows how to change the oil in the car and ride the dirt bike?

  3. Confidential to Josey: Don’t even bother with the singing thing.  There is no shame in getting paid to take your clothes off, and with a body like that, you are going to make a fucking fortune!

  4. Thanks Manhunt!
He’s gay, he can sing (see: YouTube cover of Judas), and he’s hot. I may hate country music, but I’d travel to Nashville for him!

  5. SERIOUSLY? *WHY IS YOUR FACE SO GOOD?*

Sorry about the caps, but come on now, that’s just silly when combined with the stupid hot body. Pff.

  6. mother fucking 100% hott damn jeebus rice fucking beautiful…top 10 man…and a winner…do it…please…

  7. and he is openly gay……google his name and gay….his label dropped him due to his orientation

  8. He works as a bartender at one of the gay watering holes here in Nashville, and he’s a really sweet guy. I actually think he looks better in person than he does in these photos (hot as they may be).

  9. He had a country recording contract and was dropped from his label before his debut was shelved because they discovered that he was gay. Now he’s doing it on  his own.

  10. ho hum….another blue eyed white muscle boy of a certain age..how (yawn) interesting….

  11. Travvie – Ditto on the nipples comment.

He’s hot as hell and could have had better rugged young manliness going on… until photoshop came along and softened him up a bit, it wasnt neccesary.

  12. if he is family, i would buy his CD just to help him out….dont like the country songs but luv the country bois…the twank in their voice, and fucking wild in bed…and he is BEAUTIFUL…is it luv or lust?…lol

  13. this is the sort of thing we want to be looking at. although more penis would be good

  14. I think it’s fucked up that his label dropped him like that because he’s gay but what they don’t realize is that that could’ve been a huge selling market for not only themselves but for him as well…oh well won’t be the first time tha record execs made a dumb as mistake & most certainly won’t be the last!!! Ne who, this guy is smoke’n bacon on a bbq grill type hawt & I’d listen to him sing ne time, ne place, ne where!!!

  15. Josey is talented, and it’s a downright shame that his label dropped him. Guess the country world isn’t ready for a gay country singer yet? It’ll happen soon.
Best of luck to you, Josey! Hope the best for you!

  16. After listening to a number of his songs, I would have to say that Josey Greenwell’s voice is not quite unique enough or mature enough to stand out as a solo artist right now.  I did not hear a varied enough range in his vocals.  I would suggest he look for a duo partner, either male or female, that would compliment his own voice.  An alternative to that might be the addition of 2 partners whose harmonies would help enhance his own.  If he does decide to stay solo, he should really pay special attention to hiring band members whose harmonies help lift his own vocals without hiding them.  If Josey wants to stay in country music, then I would suggest either leaning towards bluegrass or possibly old-time folk songs akin to Appalachian tunes.  If he prefers to stay a little more contemporary, then I’d like to suggest that he research the music style of some 70’s groups, in particular, the Eagles…perhaps find one or two of their songs to adapt & cover.  A solo artist from the same period such as Michael Martin Murphy might also be someone he would like to emulate in style & music.  I don’t mean to be a critic, but after carefully listening to his vocals, I think that a lot of professionals would at least agree that he needs to make some changes to what he’s currently offering.  I really think it would improve his success as a singer.

And yeah, the boy is freaking hot!  I’d love to see him in a gay duo or group singing country songs about growing up on a farm & fooling around in the hay  barn…ha!
