Robert Mapplethorpe was always controversial while alive and his art has also proven very influential. Photographer Karim Sadli is paying tribute to him with a new spread full of leather and fetishism that would truly make Mapplethorpe proud.
The model is Nicolas Ripoll and the spread is for Dazed and Confused Magazine. I have to say, it pays tribute to Mapplethorpe nicely while maintaining a fashion centric aesthetic that Mapplethorpe definitely didn't have.
