Kevin Bacon has been known to dip into horror from time to time in his career – most recently in David Koepp’s Blumhouse-produced thriller You Should Have Left. He’s back with the company, but a different writer/director this time, joining the cast of John Logan’s currently untitled directorial debut.
Logan, the writer of Skyfall and Alien: Covenant (and the creator of small-screen creepiness via Penny Dreadful and spin-off City Of Angels) has come up with a new concept. Details, according to Deadline, remain scarce, but the film – formerly called Whistler Camp is reportedly an LGBTQIA+ empowerment tale set at a camp aimed at “converting” gay people.
The Politician‘s Theo Germaine is on board to star in the new movie, which will also have Bacon as an executive producer as well as actor. He’ll next be seen in action thriller One Way and horror comedy reboot The Toxic Avenger.
