Check out this song from Lily Allen off her newest release It's Not Me, It's You. The song is called "Fuck You" and is basically a big middle finger to bigots, specifically homophobes. The song is not officially a single but has charted in some European countries. Here's a sample of the lyrics:
"so you say it’s not okay to be gay
well I think you’re just evil
you’re just some racist who can’t tie my laces
you’re point of view is medieval"
I think it's very catchy, and sends a great message. Take a listen and let me know what you think.

I think this is a great song! Its really catchy, easy to hum along to AND a great message…I have always loved Lily Allen and now I love her even more!
Well that was quick — YouTube has taken the video/song down already! 🙁
Peter, no they haven’t i can still hear it just fine… maybe you’re somewhere that doesn’t allow video streaming?
Hrm, this is weird. It’s working for me now but when I went to view it earlier, I got the notice that “This video is no longer available” and I’m in the same spot (my bedroom) that I was when I tried it before …
Meh. Nothing more than pandering to the almighty gay dollar. Not much of a song. I do like her music, though…but in this case, she put the message before the music….I’ve heard better music with stronger messages in them.
This song, when she was working on it was entitled “Guess Who Batman”. Which she wanted the audience to guess who the song was about… well all you have to do is look at the first letters of each word in the title GWB… George W. Bush.
Can’t say I like the performance, a bit too kitschy for my tastes. But applaude the message wholeheartedly.
this song is actually more directed to George W. Bush notice the “you want to be like your father its approval you’re after”
