Why didn't Lt. Dan Choi show up to lead a Knights Out sponsored workshop on ending the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy? Well, it turns out that he's been called back to duty, after previously being discharged for revealing his sexuality under DADT. Huh? I'm not sure if I fully understand it either, but I'll try my best to explain…
Choi's commander has always supported him, even didn't even press for his discharge after he appeared on The Rachel Maddow Show. The military eventually served Choi a discharge notification, but as of now… it hasn't officially been finalized. With news of a DADT repeal on the way, it might not ever be finalized. Confusing, yes. But good news either way!

Good for him. Congratulations, Dan.
