Mamma Mia is already fading from box office success here in America, but overseas it is still going strong.
This weekend marked its 5th consecutive #1 spot with $14.1 Million in 47 markets. Overall intake is already at $377.2 million internationally, making it the highest earning musical ever worldwide and the 60th highest grossing in general!
From Italy to Britain, and even Korea, Mamma Mia is an international phenomenon and it’s showing no signs of stopping. It hasn’t even opened in major markets like Japan so there’s still great potential.
