The organization we are highlighting this week is Legacy Community Health Services, based in Houston, Texas. This organization provides pivotal health services to the Houston community, including primary care, HIV testing and various other services. In their own words:
"From three convenient Houston locations, Legacy provides a wide range
of health services, including primary health care, eye care, disease
prevention and wellness programs, STD and HIV testing, HIV treatment,
transgender health services, social services and health education
services. We are a Federally Qualified Health Center and offer services
on a sliding fee scale for all our patients. We serve more than 20,000
men, women and children each year."
