On her brand new single “Heart Heart Head”, Meg Myers channels a raw emotional angst that hasn’t been heard since Tori Amos‘ heyday. At first, you might want to dismiss Meg as another pop music wannabe trying to capitalize on the success of darker offerings from Lana Del Rey and Florence + The Machine, but oh my shit, just wait until she starts screaming the chorus toward the end of the song. That’s real anger if we ever heard it.
