Who doesn’t love a good mash up? Idiots, that’s who. Stupid idiots. So, here’s the Mumford and Sons mash up of Miley Cyrus’ recent hit, you may remember it, called “Wrecking Ball”.
Mumford and Sons may have been just what mademoiselle needed for this song, because the combination of her original, sort of phoned-in, song and Mumford and Sons energetic guitar-centric undercurrent brings the song a heightened rhythm and energetic depth; two things it sort of lacked.
I don’t mind this at all; I genuinely don’t.
Good old mash-ups. Is there anything a quality mash up can’t achieve?
