Must Watch: Drag Queens Take Over America’s Got Talent

A group of men called The Diva League (yes, they are drag queens) lip-synced and danced to Rihanna's "Disturbia" for America's Got Talent and after hearing the judges comments, I can't help but think that Piers Morgan might be a bit homophobic or he's scared of drag queens. He commented, "A bunch of lip-syncing old drag queens who can't dance is not what America needs right now."

Personally, I thought it was entertaining to watch and they might be a bunch of old drag queens but they still worked it out. Does he really think that the winner of the show will represent America? Come on now, the show isn't that popular. What do you guys think about their performance and what Piers had to say?

  1. I thought they were absolutely fabulous! Piers says it’s nothing personal but I think he is homophobic. If a bunch of actual old ladies had got up there and been as awesome as this group would he have hated on them? I don’t think so!

  2. maybe they did something better before, but this performance sucked. bad choice of everything, particularly lighting – you can’t even see their moves.

  3. @Leo, Nick Cannon is a hottie, what are you talking about?
@ Nex, yeah, the lighting was bad, but I think it fit the theme of the performance, which I think was great, i’ve been to too many drag shows, where it looked like the performer just went to goodwill, picked up an outfit, and halfway learned the song they were performing

  4. I think they could have done way better than on the show…they are over accessorized with a bad theme… I love drag show all the time but this one was way underperforming. It is just my opinion

  5. What? I thought they were great! They were worthy of a show in Vegas. It was entertaining and I hope they make it through. And yea it did seem kinda homophobic of him to X them so quickly in the performance. Whatever..that guy is a douche anyway. And yes Nick Cannon is HOT!

  6. Yeah, he really seems homophobic, a couple gay guys were dancing and his only critcism for them was that they seemed gay.

  7. I thought they were terrible as well, a lot of Drag Queens put in a lot of work, time and commitment into there acts and put on a fabulous show but these Drag Queens just plain Sucked. It looked like just a bunch of gay guys who were looking to make a fool of themselves just for a few seconds of fame put on woman’s clothes but were by no means real Drag Queens. I am glad they are gone, the hell with if America is ready for their act, fact of the matter is they had no act just a bunch of boys playing dress up and failing miserably at it, all the talented Drag Queen acts out there I wish we could have gotten a real one not just these wannabe’s.

  8. Nick Cannon is hot! No question! Piers Morgan was right! No question! The criticism was right! No question! The other judges should have said so too. All of them should have asked “How the Hell did they get on this show??”. That isn’t the worst act that has been on the show but it must be at least 3rd or 4th on the list.

  9. I’d like to see half of you guys try to pull off this act in heels.
    THEN you can talk shit.

  10. The act being shit or not is irrelevant. Do you honestly believe him saying: “A bunch of lip-syncing old drag queens who can’t dance is not what America needs right now.” would change even if everyone here agreed they were great?
I get that a lot of guys on here don’t want to cry homophobia even when it hits them in the face but this is pretty blatant.
If they’re shit, then say they’re shit. Don’t add extraneous details. Hell, rag on them for failing at drag but don’t say they suck mainly because of them being drag queens.
