If you’re in the New York area, we highly recommend heading over here to get a ticket for High. We swear we have no ulterior motives in telling you this (despite the fact that Manhunt Cares will be sponsoring the event). Based on the description, it actually sounds quite intriguing:
“High is a provocative, funny and unapologetic show designed to get people talking. The evening’s centerpiece is the NY premiere of “Through a Glass, Darkly,” a 45 minute highly theatrical rock opera about relationships torn apart by crystal meth.”
For those who may be worried, rest assured that the show ends on a note of “hope, healing, self-realization and renewal”. NYCGMC’s mission is to utlilize song for the purposes of shedding light on and encouraging dicussion about issues that effect our community. A thirty-minute panel will follow the production, including members of organizations which are leading the way on awareness and prevention. Be sure to check it out!

Not very good.
The DC Gay Men’s Chorus performed Through a Glass Darkly last year. Though it is a good show, those in recovery should go with a support group. Luckily I did, as I was triggered by it. Unfortunately, DC did NOT have a panel discussion following the show, though they advertised they would.
The Dancers SUCKED ( not N a good way ) it is a worthy cause & I wish all of those N recovery all the best !!!
