As those of you who actually pay attention to our music posts know, I’m rather predictable in my love for sparkly electro-pop with a lot of feelings. Nick Pes delivers hard in that department with his debut single “I Remember”, a guitar-laced and thoroughly ’80s-esque track about summer romance. Not so coincidentally? It may or may not be my new favorite song.
If you’re a shallow bastard—not that we’re judging or anything—you might also be interested to know that Nick is very, very attractive. This might not be reason enough to go to iTunes now and immediately download his song, but I wouldn’t be mad if it influenced your decision.
You might also be interested to know that Nick played guitar for fellow Australian act Garçon Garçon‘s live shows. The sound you hear right now? That’s the gears turning in my brain, as I try to comprehend how that much sexiness could appear on one stage…

Sexy voice. In a downer month like January it’s cool to think back to the summer. A hot man who poses in athletic socks jazzes up my day
Love a man in a superhero shirt. Cool song….reminds me of wandering the boardwalk in my town at night (before Sandy destroyed it haha)
