A waterpark in Idaho, Lava Hot Springs, denied a lesbian couple with three children an advertised family price because they did not fit the park's definition of family. According to the park's Executive Director, "the state doesn't recognize gay or lesbian marriage and defines a family as one male, one female and children."
Rather than forgetting about what the state says and giving a legitimate family their damn discount, the park will consider abandoning the whole "family price" concept. Now that sounds like a logical solution…

I live in Idaho, and frankly it is like living in a different time. As a whole, we are behind the times, and I am not proud of how backword this State is. Although, the gym where I work recognizes same sex couples.
As wrong as it is, it’s Idaho… is anyone surprised? That’s like going to Utah and expecting to find someone with intelligence and less than one wife over the age of 14. 2009 and still equality for everyone doesn’t exist. “America, Land of the Free”? I’ve yet to see it…
Send the bigots a nice email, this facility appears to be government owned as well. So putting a dig about how lame their potatoes are and that you will never buy Idaho potatoes again may get their attention. Support Maine potatoes as Maine offers Same Sex marriage and has better potatoes anyway
This seems like total BS, I bet they would give a single parent with kids the family price.
