As we wind down our calendar year for 2014, we are thrilled for all of the major accomplishments that equality has made worldwide. However, we’d be remissed if we didn’t discuss who earned a spot on our Biggest Dicks of 2014 list. No, not quite as adult as you may have imagined (apologies to Tommy Defendi, Mick Lovell and whatever porn star you’d like to think of when saying ‘big dick’).
Instead, today we celebrate those that inspire us to scream at our iPhone as we scour headlines or send a link to our bestie to remind them that their boss really isn’t that bad. Yes kids, today we are discussing pricks, dick heads and all those that we love to hate.
We introduce you to our annual Biggest Dicks of 2014 countdown:
_______________________________________________________________________________
10. BILL COSBY:
Rape, slander, lies, hiding, attorney fees… And that’s just this month.
_______________________________________________________________________________
9. ADRIAN PETERSON:
Beating up your kids and justifying it as discipline? No, no, no! ‘Nuff said.

Most people whom enjoy their food at a local mom and pop shop tend to appreciate their service by tipping generously, unlike Harvard Professor Ben Edelman, whom arguably took the exact opposite approach. Instead, he went to the Chinese food restaurant website, discovered he was overcharged and reported the owner to the authorities.
The amount the bill was off by? Four dollars! Luckily, HBS students have created a campaign to showcase their support, but Professor Edelman earns a great spot on our Biggest Dicks of 2014 list with this prick move. Oh, and his thought on the food? “Delicious” – unlike his mug shot attached to the article.

7. RAY RICE:
Beating up your girl on camera? No, no, no! ‘Nuff said.

President of Gordon College D. Michael Lindsay was among 14 religious leaders who wrote to the White House requesting an exemption to an upcoming executive order prohibiting federal contractors from discriminating in their hiring based on sexual orientation or gender identity. Luckily, local bewitching Salem Mayor cut ties with the college to make a stand and even offered personal money to match all anti-LGBT calls to the city.

5. ANONYMOUS BURGER KING SECURITY GUARD:
A security guard asked two gay men, ages 18 and 19, to leave the Burger King in Madrid’s Plaza de los Cubos last month after a patron who was eating there with his kids complained about them kissing, according to El Pais. In response to this, protesters gathered to stage a gay kiss-in at a Burger King franchise in Spain Saturday.

4. CHRIS HUGHES:
Originally heralded as part of the ‘world’s largest gay power couple’, Hughes and his boyfriend have overseen an incredible year of loss, including a 30 point defeat for his political ambitions and a practical death blow for the former journalistic giant The New Republic after a wave of criticism has seeped in. Using gay and power should only refer to power bottom, and thus we decry Mr. Hughes for his public failures on changing the world to be a better, gayer place for us all.

3. MAXIM DOLGOPOV:
Know that Russian name? Nyet? Well, Mr. Dogopov is apparently the slave puppy to Mr. Vladmir Putin, as his organization, ZEFS, took down the Steve Jobs memorial iPhone display honoring said tech genius after current Apple CEO Tim Cook came out and advocated for LGBT rights earlier this year. A ZEFS statement said it was required to abide by a 2013 Russian law outlawing “homosexual propaganda” directed at minors. The monument was in clear view of the students at the college.

Cairo police recently arrest nearly 40 spa guests, all of whom were naked, afraid and confused, under the guise that the bathhouse owner was being accused of immoral and indecent conduct. Evidently, police were using social media sites and mobile apps like Grindr to find their prey. Though Grindr now showcases how far off their members are, apps like Jack’d have eased the process to hide exact GPS metrics to better protect their members. All the same, anyone joining these sites to prey on others need to fuck off, permanently

1. ALL GRAND JURIES WEIGHING IN ON RACIAL ISSUES:
‘Nuff said.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Great post Dewitt. I dare say that the ranking of the two grand jury issues as racial is very inaccurate. Race had nothing to do with either incident. Discuss…….
This isn’t my post, but I’m glad you appreciated what Chris had to say!
And, uh, I’m going to have to WILDLY DISAGREE that race had nothing to do with either incident.
For the sake of remaining cordial with one another, that is all I’m going to say on this matter.
No worries we can disagree and still be cordial. Still love you dewitt and all you do for us gay guys!!!!!
I’d wager that each grand jury was overwhelmingly white. As a former police dispatcher, I am well aware of the rampant (and sometimes unchecked) racism among some police. One former coworker (lily white girl) said that she wished our one sergeant was black so that she could hate her more.
This is my truth….
Welp, this is the last I read this blog. Educate yourself.
My heart and soul wants to believe that the grand jury based their decision strictly on the facts but I am wise enough to know that as BLACK AMERICAN LIBERTY and JUSTICE FOR ALL my sound good on paper but the truth betold that LIBERTY and JUSTICE FOR ALL in 2014 AMERICA still does NOT apply to all !!!
THANK U Dewitt I could not have said it better !
This is the only appropriate reaction I can come up with to this.

The real problem is that the American Justice System was never set up to see black people as people. We were property when the DOI was created and after the Emancipation Proclamation we’ve basically been seen as toys that get to run wild and loose and free.
I love the phrase ‘Go back where you came from!’ as if we had a choice in the matter. If you think there’s not a race problem in this country I want whatever you’re smoking. I’m assuming it’s a strain of weed called White Privilege.
This is the most Black men I’ve ever seen on a Top 10 list on Manhunt Daily!
I don’t know whether to laugh, cry or both to this comment. You win the award for Best Shade of 2014.
As a human being I find this comment insulting. The portrayal of dark skin folks in media is no laughing matter. Moreover how we are portrayed in porn is no laughing matter! People of all creeds, colors, and religious backgrounds commit crimes, and can be all around assbags! Yet media and especially porn attempt to show us as thugs (Rocco Reeds fantasy on MEN.com). This is not a laughing matter. In regards to the criminals on this list, I do not see the color of their skin, I see their crime. Unfortunately Grand Juries, Porn Folks, and this commenter choose to see their skin as what defines them!
I enjoy this blog. Will continue to enjoy this blog moving forward. However featuring this comment offended me deeply. I rarely read the comment section and could of been spared this crap. Instead after reading a great list, was assaulted with this so called joke. I reply with anger, because I am tired of being made into a punchline!
I apologize, as I did not intend to offend you or anyone else. I also do not believe – given his history of commenting on the blog – that nodoubtfan intended any offense with his original statement.
In fact, while I’d rather not put words into his own mouth, I am pretty sure his comment came from a similar place of frustration? It was a harsh truth, and if I was laughing, it was partially out of nervous laughter from being forced to confront it and the overwhelming dread that I cannot fix this greater problem in society.
Since beginning at this blog, my goal has been to present Black men as sexy without fetishizing race, and I’ve made it a point to confront offensive stereotypes like Rocco Reed’s prison gangbang, Manuel DeBoxer’s robbery tag-team, and bullshit as extreme as the now-defunct website Lost In The Hood.
I am not looking for a pat on the back or validation, but rather, I would like to take this moment to open up the dialogue and ask what else can be done to make a positive impact in this regard.
Wow…I didn’t mean anything offensive by just pointing out what I observed. Hell, I’m a Black man myself.
Will readily admit I do not read the comment section in this blog. It has been pointed out to me that I overreacted. It is a sensitive subject for me, and it turns out I read your comment out of context. For that I apologize, when it comes to these matters I often miss the joke.
No worries. 🙂
You have definitely been an advocate. It is one of the reasons I do enjoy this blog. It is also part of the reason I had such a gut reaction to the featured comment. I wasn’t expecting it from this site. In truth I normally only read the articles and rarely if ever browse the comment section. Obviously I took this out of context. I should have trusted the history of the blog, and not reacted from my gut. For that I apologize.
It’s all good! After stepping outside of my own world, I realized how the comment could be misinterpreted out of context. It probably wasn’t wise to feature it and make light of a very serious situation.
Hugs all around.
i don’t know whether to laugh or cry, myself.
maybe instead, i’ll continue to lose hope for humanity.
are you familiar with param sharma, dewitt?
