For the past couple of days, we've had some foul weather outside of Manhunt headquarters. Luckily, I've managed to keep a smile on my face with a handful of free MP3 downloads I came across recently. Because music has the ability to make anything better (except for a bad fuck).
This week's edition of On The Download features songs by Hole, Sugar & Gold, Roisin Murphy and The Notorious B.I.G. with The xx. Take them around for a spin, and let us know what you think!

Hole – Samantha: With a raucous refrain of "People like you fuck people like me in order to avoid agony", it's safe to say that Courtney Love is officially back. Whether you actually want her to be back is a whole other question. I'm actually pretty addicted to this track. What do you think?

Sugar & Gold – Stay Soft: If you're a fan of The Scissor Sisters or Hercules & Love Affair, you will absolutely love Sugar & Gold. I don't know much about them at the moment, but they sound like the gayest band to invade the music scene since… well, The Scissor Sisters. Get ready to dance, because these bitches are bringing it!

Roisin Murphy – Momma's Place (The C90s Remix): We don't understand ninety-nine percent of the words on the site we found this on, but these minor technicalities don't really matter when one of our favorite songs is getting remixed. There's a nice sort-of disco vibe to this one. Love it!

Notorious B.I.G. vs. The xx – The Notorious xx: One of the best rappers of all time bumps heads with the justifiably hyped London indie trio. Hear what happens when a bunch of white people take over his greatest hits. Spoiler alert? It's kind of amazing. Perhaps the best mash-up album since The Grey Album.
I love “Samantha”, I actually have the demo version, which I like much better and sounds better too but, I also like this one. The lyrics are different too in various parts. The demo had pretty cool lines.
HOLY SHIT! The Notorious xx cd is blowing my MIND! You got the good ears, sonnyboy.
