Forbes magazine just released their annual list of the 100 Most Powerful Women in the World, and Oprah Winfrey made the cut coming in at no. 36. This is not Oprah’s first time on the list; she has appeared on the list a couple of times already.
Oprah was considered more powerful than Elizabeth II and first-lady Laura Bush. Other names that you might be familiar with are Katie Couric (no. 62), Barbara Walters (no. 63), and Diane Sawyer (no. 65).
Who is the most powerful woman in the world you ask? The answer is Angela Merkel who is the chancellor of Germany.
Congrats to Oprah for being a very influential and positive woman!
