The life of Pedro Zamora, the HIV+ gay man who appeared on MTV's The Real World: San Francisco in 1994, has made it to the big screen. Dustin Lance Black, the talented screenwriter who wrote Milk, wrote the screenplay, titled PEDRO.
Zamora shot to fame in 1994, when many were still ignorant of HIV, and became a kind of spokesman for HIV+ people across the nation. His ironically timed death (the day after the last episode of Real World aired) was a shock to many, but his memory has survived and will continue with this biopic.
This is one I wouldn't want to miss. You can learn more about the film at the official website.
