$4000 to $7000? Sorry to burst your bubbles, guys, but you’re not even close, especially not in this economy. The sites may treat their exclusives good, with a guaranteed contract, but it’s still work-for-hire, and the studios/websites are going to keep the lion’s share of the profits. That’s just simple business practice. A friend of mine did a shoot for On The Hunt (two scenes) a couple of years ago and made $1000, a fairly average rate. Nothing to sneeze at, but not enough to quit your day job. And with new talent being constantly discovered, you’d better have great “assets” to establish staying power in the business, or else you’ll be nothing but last month’s flavor of the day.
