An aesthetic and fashion sense that combines early Rihanna with current Rihanna + The lyrical equivalent of Katy Perry‘s “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” or any damn Ke$ha song + summery production that’s reminiscent of a less exciting version of Miley Cyrus‘ “Party In The U.S.A.” = Rita Ora‘s debut US single “How We Do (Party)”, originally entitled “Party and Bullshit”.
Here’s a question for Manhunt Daily‘s pop aficionados! How do y’all feel about Rita Ora? With the help of Jay-Z, could she become the next big thing? Or will the comparisons to other female artists destroy her career before it even begins? Weigh in with your thoughts after the jump.

Here’s Rita’s UK single “R.I.P.” f/ Tinie Tempah:
RIP is a much better single. She might breakthrough in the US, but not in a big way like Rihanna did.
This basic bitch. What a boring, uninteresting video for a song that ruins the memory of one of Biggie’s best.
The sample of Nneka’s “Heartbeat” is what really makes R.I.P. a great song; though strangely it doesn’t quite fit–the moral of that story is, just listen to “Heartbeat” by Nneka…
Nice voice but she’s kinda forgettable like an also ran on Idol or X-Factor.
if jessie j managed to have success regardless of her comparisons, then i think rita ora is quite all right.
Drake also wrote and produced the song for Nicki Minaj way back in 09, and she said fuck it. I’ve had his version on my ipod ever since.
