Holy crap! Did you catch RuPaul's Drag Race last night? There were too many laugh-out-loud moments to even list, and a lip-synch battle that you don't want to miss. The episode began with a challenge inspired by Bob Barker and The Price Is Right, as the contestants bet on the cost of various drag queen essentials.
The game show fever continued as the girls brought on their best celebrity impressions for a variation of the Match Game simply entitled Snatch Game. Special guests Alec Mapa and Phoebe Price stopped in to compete with one another in the game, with Niecy Nash and Lisa Rinna appearing as guest judges later in the episode. If you missed the action, be sure to click through and watch it now!
Note: I've been having trouble deciding when to refer to the contestants as "he" or "she", so apologies if reading these rankings can become confusing or annoying. I'd consider using gender neutral pronouns such as "ze" and "hir", but I imagine they may be even more confusing since most folks aren't familiar with this vernacular.

AND NUMBER ONE THIS WEEK…
1. TATIANNA (LW – 8): Consider this the episode that I fell in absolute love with Tatianna. From the first few minutes, I appreciated that he called out the bitch squad on talking shit about Mystique. And then when she whipped out her Britney Spears impression? Both the look and the personality were spot-on, despite Tatianna having never impersonated someone in the past. I just wish she would have stopped channeling Britney on the runway! That short skirt seemed like it was intentionally crafted for paparazzi crotch shots!
2. PANDORA BOXX (LW – 4): With each week that passes, Pandora creeps higher and higher on my list of favorites. She represented hard for the ol' school gays, opting to embody Carol Channing instead of a current pop star or tabloid fixture. Though she couldn't quite top Tatianna's Britney, her performance in the Snatch Game was absolutely hilarious!
3. JUJUBE (LW – 3): I'm conflicted about the judges placing Jujube in the bottom three. On one hand, I thought she truly delivered on the illusion of Kimora Lee Simmons, but she could have brought it even harder. Hopefully this warning will provide inspiration for stepping up her game. I don't think I can handle a world where RuPaul doesn't ask questions like, "Is that Lil Kim or Lil Kimchi?"
4. JESSICA WILD (LW – 1): As much as I'm personally obsessed with Jessica Wild, I'm starting to wonder if I'd rather see her as America's Next Top Muppet instead of our next drag superstar. A part of me wishes she has chosen to pose as Tyra Banks instead of RuPaul, because her dancing and expressions were straight out of an episode of ANTM.
5. SAHARA DAVENPORT (LW – 8): Step it up! That's all I have to say to Sahara Davenport. Much like Jujube, she needs to take her persona to the next level. While her Whitney Houston act was decent, it would have been even better if she really focused on the Being Bobby Brown era.
6. TYRA SANCHEZ (LW – 2): Tyra's becoming a villain I hate to love. I can't get over her extraordinary sense of style. It's like she's Cruella de Vil, but she's making malicious and unnecessary jokes about Mystique instead of murdering cute puppies. I don't agree with RuPaul on her utilization of a deep voice. It may have worked for Bea Arthur and Weezy Jefferson, but Tyra just seems like she's too lazy or indifferent to pump it up an octave. This was evident in her lackluster portrayal of Beyonce.
7. RAVEN (LW – 9): On the flip side, Raven is the villain that I love to hate. Well, I technically don't even love hating her. I'd really just prefer that she go away so I don't have to waste any energy on it. Her representation of Paris Hilton was "meh", but at least she delivered on the runway. Too bad it seems like she has no heart. For being so excited about calling his mom, he sounded awfully cold on the phone.
8. MORGAN MCMICHAELS (LW – 5): Morgan seemed awfully confident about his ability to assume the character of Pink. As he prepared his makeup and threw shade at Sonique, it seemed like he thought he had it in the bag. Long story short… he didn't. Good thing she's good at lip-synching!
GONE… SONIQUE (LW – 8): Before I get my rant on, can I acknowledge one thing? Sonique is a fucking hot woman. Out of all the queens, she's the one who turns me on most in drag. Unfortunately, she won't have the opportunity to do so anymore. She failed at passing herself off as Lady Gaga, and even her acrobatic moves couldn't save her. Truth be told? I won't miss this bitch.
I definitely won’t miss Sonique. Tatianna ROCKED this week…would have been really funny if she HAD done a crotch shot on Snatch Game.
Untucked was equally funny, as the bitches (especially Raven) took some pretty funny jabs at Mystique behind the camera.
I disagree with you, though, Dewitt. Keep Raven, and get rid of Tyra Sanchez as quickly as possible. Her always negative comments and “My sh*t don’t stink evah” outlook on drag is VERY demeaning to true Queens.
This week a lot of the girls took themselves to seriously. Even with Ru telling them comedy was an important aspect of the challenge. I think they all should have taken it to a level of caricature instead of demurring due to some misplaced idolization. I agree with Laris about Tyra, although her runways was ferocious, her impersonation was flat. She played herself, making her Sasha Fierce seem like a fresh from the oven mess, but of course she thought she was great.
I constantly forgot about Sonique, so I won’t be missing her much…
TATIANNA & TYRA need to go.. Tatianna is about as entertaining as a one car funeral… and Tyra is just SHADY
That was so fun
P!nk?
Started watching this show solely from reading this post.
Tatianna is fucking fierce! Most beautiful drag queen I’ve ever seen for sure. She’s my pick to win, hope she keeps bringing it!
Jessica Wild is also a favourite of mine. I loved her ‘No matter what your size if you’re fierce, you’re fierce’ line when the other girls were bitching endlessly about Mystique in Untucked.
Raven and Tyra need to go, those bitches bore me.
Maybe its just cuz I’m an old school queen, but I totally thought that Pandora Box deserved to win. I think that Tatiana won more to piss off the other girls (who inexplicably hate her, I mean, sure, she’s not FABULOUS, but she looks great and seems genuinely nice, unlike, say, Morgan, who is so full of herself. But yeah, if ever there was a challenge for Pandora to win, it should have been this one. Oh well, I’m hoping that the fact that she’s staying out of the drama and consistantly improving means she’s around for the long haul, unfortunately it probably means that she’ll be going home soon. Oh well.
I thought tatiannas britney was hysterical and scarily like britt but my votes go to Pandora Boxx shes so funny and awesome, I loved watching her audition videos and other comedy on youtube, she could really do more after winning the race because she has talent as well as a look.
