We all go through phases that we later come to regret in life, and it just so happens that my phase incorporated an obsession with Dashboard Confessional's The Place You Have Come To Fear The Most. I would sing along to lyrics about "bitter pills", and swoon over the dreamy lead singer Chris Carrabba.
There was a point where this man's words were the deepest thing I had ever heard. These days, I just want to be deep inside of him. It's a nostalgia fuck of sorts. Much like Argiris Karras, Carrabba isn't an unattractive man, but it's the context of my lust that makes me feel slightly ashamed about wanting to plow him.
Apparently, he's been doing an acoustic tour to promote the band's latest album Alter the Ending. Though I haven't heard any of his new stuff, I'm sure it's just as angsty and awful as the old songs. Maybe I should go stalk him?
