When it comes to gay rights, Hilary Duff isn't half bad. In fact, her efforts are quite admirable. You may remember Duff taking part in the "Think B4 You Speak" television campaign, which urged teens to stop using the phrase "that's so gay" in a negative context. And now, the starlet has been showing her support for the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), an organization which ensures that all students are treated fairly. Social-networking site MySpace is giving away ten-thousand dollars for the MySpace Impact Award, and the actress has publicly expressed that she feels the organization deserves the prize.
Now I want to respect her so much, but I can't bring myself past the fact that she's a mediocre (if not terrible) actress. The reviews for her two most recent projects have been horrendous. And did anyone else catch her on Law and Order: SVU? Her attempts to sincerely shout the word "bitch" seemed oh-so-wrong…
Then again, Duff is joining the cast of Gossip Girl. And if there's one thing I've learned from watching that show, it's that you don't have to be a trained actor to pull that shit off. Speaking of bad acting, can I tell you how jealous I am that she got to make out with Penn Badgley? Forget respecting her! That bitch done stole my man.

I love that bitch. And she’s not mediocre, she’s growing into her craft. 😉
Blair is gonna eat her alive! lol
she was pretty decent in maguire, but lately not as good.
in general she just works too much, her many flaws just have too many chances to happen 😛
I always hated her and was very ashamed when I found I loved her album Dignity. But that with her gay rights campaigning has made me really respect her.
