This is a beautiful gay video just in time for the holiday. Gay singer Steve Grand has a flirty friend who ends up being just that – a flirty friend. This is too bad, cuz’ they make a REALLY hot couple. Damn you, straight boy cocktease! At least it doesn’t end ugly.
On second thought, maybe this is sort of a downer video for the holiday. It should end with Steve having the most intense orgasm of his life. Is there a director’s cut on the way?
Wow. Not crazy about the song but the little video is great.
So, every one of my gay friends has posted this today. I applaud this guy for living his truth in a genre that’s more or less associated with a straight guy mentality (whether that’s a fair generalization or not), and dude is absolutely gorgeous. But, I hope he’s still special when that shirt goes back on. This song is maybe a B-minus, A-minus if he didn’t bite those Carrie Underwood rhymes. I look forward to him growing as an artist (and hopefully not just as an “openly gay country singer”). And I hope that our community would be this excited and supportive if this guy looked like Tate Stevens.
Loved this vid! It is sweet and hot at the same time and brings back such bittersweet memories of the teen years and not knowing if HE feels the same way you do.
(Tate Stevens, by the way, who is a adorable)
Actually an “all american boy” should be a native american, this is most likely a 5th generation Irish immigrant, and that’s what the song should be called!
Catchy!! Oh yeaHHH 😐
I love the song big time!
Actually I would slow dance with my husband to it no problem!
And wow he has an AWESOME VIOCE and is MF CUTE!
Oy… actually “native Americans” didn’t call themselves that, since each nation thought of themselves in terms of tribal identity, not a continent spanning singular group. It seems you’re just as guilty of making gross generalizations based on your writing that he’s “most likely a 5th generation Irish immigrant”.
Can’t you ever just not write this condescending, pedantic stuff? Ever?
What a nice song 🙂 and he is adorable, to boot.
And that is Taylor from Fratpad as the love object.
didn’t the “native americans” actually come from Siberia??
I agree. I’ve gotten to the point I just glide right over anything from “hd.” It isn’t worth my time to read.
Gay doesn’t make it good.
Haha you know I write some stuff tongue in cheek…it s not meant to be taken always very seriously, but there seems to be a racist component in this “all american” thing, which is what I was trying to point out 🙂
Sites where you have those “all american boys” : fratpad, corbin fisher, sean cody, none of which has any latin, asian or black dude(one every year doesn’t really count, sorry), it’s all white/caucasian dudes only that seem to fit this “all american” mold
That’s what I was saying 🙂 All in all I think this expression is stupid.
I don’t like the song either, sounds like some taylor swift crap ( which is good I guess for the money aspect)
I’ll agree that there needs to be a show of greater diversity to match the actual make up of our nation (mine at least, it is unknown to me if you’re in the USA). However, I don’t see an inherent racism in this particular video. I personally know a few black artists just as hot and talented singers to boot.
The racism isn’t in the video or the song. It’s in the phrase “all-American boy” – which I’ve never seen, read, or heard applied to a non-caucasian.
I have. Several times. Although typically white guys are referred to with that term, I have seen Black, Asian, and Latino men called all American.
that was so sweet…………if he cant get an all american boy….happy to be is australian boy hehehe
While I’m glad that he feels secure enough to own his sexuality in a really tough genre of music, if you listened to this song with your eyes closed (give it a minute c’mon) and just listen to the music, most people would realize this is mediocre at best. But props for being brave!!!!!
More power to Steve for doing what the country record producers wouldn’t do. It’s a sexy video and reminds me so much of a few boys that I was totally crushing on as a young homo. I’m not much of a country music fan but the song was not that bad to me. Seeing Steve mostly, or for that one brief moment totally, naked is totally worth it. Plus his crush is pretty hot too.
What I really applaud about the song and the video is that there is nothing to hide what it is about and the topic at hand. If there can be a support song from Macklemore on the rap charts, there is truly no reason why there can’t be on the Country side of things. What many need to realize is that their fear about same sex relationships is simply irrational and that fear that they have is nothing more that simply being made that others will not conform to their beliefs. Personally, as far as the song itself, I find it to be better than the dreck that Sugarland or Lady Antebellum as been putting out now for sometime, and both of them were groups I started out enjoying, but sadly, they haven’t had to conform in order to belong.
It just cements that worn out imagine that all gay boys want is a “real” man… the gold standard is to hook yourself a “str8” guy…….. just pour some drinks down his throat and he’ll wonder where you’ve been all his life…. don’t waste your time pining for the str8 dude, get the cute gay dude — because at some stage you are gonna be rejected by the str8 guy however flattered he is or how much he’s teased ya….. however cute this country singer is, he’s sending the wrong message. And I ain’t buying it…. it is insulting however cute the pair are.
I thought it was a good song
Yes, the land bridge between Siberia and Alaska is one theory… but there are others like the Solutrean hypothesis and Pacific coastal models. Chances are that the ancestors of Amerindians arrived in the Americas through successive waves of migration mostly via Beringia, but possibly via other routes as well. Archaeologists just don’t really know and the debate continues to rage… oh wait, what were we talking about? Oh yes, hot gay country music singer or something. Right? 😉
have you seen his gay dating profile on okcupid?
Ooo, gay culture fail. Margaret Cho’s sit-com years ago was called “All-American Girl”.
haha does he really has one?
I thought that was the guy from fratpad
