Steven Yeun‘s career is taking off to a welcome degree as the Walking Dead veteran is seeing plenty of attention thanks to his acclaimed performance in Minari. And that has put him on Jordan Peele‘s radar, with the director making Yeun an offer to join his next project.
Peele’s next film is tightly under wraps for now – while we’re assuming it’s another clever tale of terror, he’s not saying yet – but it will star the director’s Get Out collaborator Daniel Kaluuya alongside Keke Palmer. The new movie will fall under his wide-ranging deal with Universal. It’s scheduled for release in July 2022.
As for Yeun, he recently signed on to star in TV series Beef opposite Ali Wong.
