A choice quote from last night's episode of Parks and Recreation –"I passed up a gay Halloween party to be here. Do you know how much fun gay Halloween parties are? Last year, I saw three Jonas Brothers make out with three Robert Pattinsons." Was it a coincidence that the same night's episode of 30 Rock included a plotline in which Frank, Toofer and Lutz attempt to crash Jenna's gay Halloween party? I think not.
With all that said, the best part of the night's comedy line-up wasn't aired on television. A short-clip aired during a commercial break, urging viewers to check out a mysterious girl group called Subtle Sexuality. The duo is composed of two characters from The Office, Kelly Kapoor (Mindy Kaling) and Erin Hannon (Ellie Kemper), and their song is called "Male Prima Donna".
The best part about the whole schtick is that they went all out, creating a website, a music video and putting the song on iTunes. The single is equipped with a digital booklet, in which Kelly thanks herself for believing in her and "Beyonce for being such a great role model". I really hope they continue this gag, because I'm loving it!
