I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again—Next Door Studios has really stepped up their game in recent history, after overcoming huge fiascoes like their condom shaming propaganda and embarrassing wanna-be viral videos that came off as a poor attempt to replicate the success of underwear brand Andrew Christian‘s winning formula.
When their experiment with going bareback didn’t have flocks of gay porn fans rushing to their homepage, the studio exercised a different strategy to bring in viewers who missed the heyday of models like Samuel O’Toole, Paul Wagner, Marcus Mojo and James Jamesson. They searched far and wide for new talent, and along the way, they enlisted the help of actual gay porn stars like Brandon Moore, Colt Rivers, Mike Gaite and Luke Adams.
A little over a year ago, Next Door introduced a model named Markie More. Upon receiving the e-mail about his solo, I couldn’t stop laughing at his pseudonym, because I misread it as “Markle More” and thought they were trying to capitalize on the success of Macklemore (who had just won several Grammy Awards a month before Markie’s debut).
This story is mostly irrelevant, aside from the thought that, back then, I would have never suspected “Markle More” would become the hottest model on Next Door‘s roster, demonstrating his versatility in a string of audition scenes that (occasionally) feature decent chemistry and jizz-worthy performances.
So, uh, let’s take this opportunity to celebrate the meteoric rise of “Markle More”!
